Inspired by André Leon Talley: Wicker Rolling Baskets

I embraced the "granny cart" a few years ago when I moved into a high-rise building in DTLA. Look, let me be the first to say... Granny has the right idea! Why struggle with heavy groceries when the rolling cart makes it so easy to transport things? I use my cart of everything to Framers Market runs to Home Depot hauls. I borrowed my original cart from a friend to help with my move and just never gave it back! The cart is giving big "work smarter, not harder" energy, and I'm fully embracing it!

However, being the fashion girl I am, I'm always searching for something chic and fabulous. So, when I was browsing the items available for auction during the Andre Leon Talley sale at Christie's and stumbled upon his wicker rolling cart from Paris, I was inspired! I needed a wicker rolling cart! While ALT's cart ended up selling at auction for $3,525 (only sliiiiightly out of my budget lol), I did stumble upon a DUPE at Ikea for $89. Now never mind that my new wicker cart is technically a laundry basket. It's chic, useful, and I get so many compliments whenever I use it. Below are links to a few wicker rolling cart options. Thanks Andre for the inspo. Forever an icon!
