The Things I "Thrifted" From My Parent's House

After two years of pandemic living in LA, I finally found my way back home to Texas. I've NEVER gone this long without seeing my parents and, needless to say, it was great to be home! Normally while I'm visiting I drag my Mom to thrift stores all around the city. I didn't get a chance to do that during this visit, but I still made the most of it and shopped... my parent's house!

Look, parents collect a lot of things over the years and half of the things they don't even know they have. I love shopping at the "Parent's House Thrift Store". lol My Mom's closet is one of my favorite sections of the store. On this trip, I scored: A pair of silver candlesticks, a leather Coach crossbody, a belt with a Texas belt buckle, and a pair of black Ferragamo slides, which I've been on the hunt for, for months.

Have you ever thought about "thrifting" your parents house? I'm always digging deep in some closet or drawer hunting for treasures. My parents always joke that they should search my bags before I leave their house and head home. They're probably right! lol But FYI: I always ask before I take anything. Obviously, it's the right thing to do!
